It's 2/23....

Okay so I checked the HTC site after reading the post and it was clearly there. Now I come back to the thread, read some more posts, and decide to check HTC's site again and it isn't there (in the main animation). But also missing from that animation are the two newest HTC Tmobile phones, which were definately there before as well.

Right now, if I could upgrade, I'd totally get the Thunderbolt. But if it keeps getting delayed and the release date ends up being pretty close to the time the Motorola Bionic comes out, I'd have a much harder time deciding between the two.

If it's after March 17th I am probably going to pass on the Thunderbolt and just wait for something better in the summer.

But they announced it before 4pm. I'm still going with the 28th, again that's when that are pushing the Skype update. I was hopefully for the 24th but didn't receive my stock yet. We will soon see!

Yeah I was thinking it was going to be in March, but now I am really thinking it will be the 28th. I wont hold my breathe but that is when I think it is coming now.

Don't count on that. The OG Droid never got a Sense port. Plus, with all apps and bootloader being signed, that's going to be a much longer process before it ever happens.
 
LG Revolution is just around the corner too. And then the Bionic. So the clock is ticking on the Thunderbolt. For me, it's either next week or I wait for the Revolution to make a side by side comparison.
 
It's also gone from the HTC site for me, too.

EDIT: It's only there when I do a manual search of the site.
 
Is all this possibly due to a lot of misunderstanding of dates? It seems that these dates got mixed up first by BB. I think the original date, Feb 14th could have been intended for the ADD release to make the general public aware of the device. Then the 24th could have been intended for Verizons opening of preorders for the actual release date of the 28th. Looking back on how things have played out already this is very possible IMO.

If you're within a month of your upgrade date, you can call *611 and ask them to move it up. I've had no problems moving the date within a month. If you want to move it more than 30 days, though, that's a bit harder.
