Its funny the things people complain about......

I've read some online reviews and its hilarious that some people don't like the kick stand or the thunder storm intro! Those are my 2 favorite things besides the 4g

Ha! My kids get a kick out of the thunderstorm. And you only see it at startup, so what's the issue? And what's wrong with the kickstand? I wish it was a little more resistant so that you could flip the phone the other way (for charging and whatnot), but definitely not complaint worthy. I haven't had a kickstand since my first bike with training wheels, so it was an upgrade. ;)

It is the same way with video games.People will complain and complain the first few weeks about crap not working right because they do not know how to run the darn thing or just dumb idiots. So Far I love my phone.I just I didn't have to spend so much on it.Will be worth it for two years tho.

One thing I have to say about the kickstand is that I wish the kickstand opened up on the other side or have the micro-usb port on the other side. If your phone is charging, you can't really deploy the kickstand unless you are standing it up vertically.

I might as well bring this up here. On the top of the screen where the Verizon logo is. Does anyone else notice at the top right where the "V" check mark symbol thing is, there is an open space that seems to look like an open semi-circle? What is that?

The kickstand is a little annoying only because it blocks the speaker...

teh problem with the Thunder intro is that it is pretty loud; it's okay during the day, but if I turn reboot my phone when people are sleeping, it is a little too loud. (Considering the battery issues, I'll probably be rebooting the phone a lot.)

I like both, but wish the kickstand did not block the speaker. That IS kind of dumb, IMO.

If you are new to android and open this site it would probably keep you from getting a great phone. Some of the complaints may be valid but most are newbies expecting an iPhone or blackberry like experience.

Change is hard but its can be and usually is a good thing. This is coming from a die hard blackberry fan. Time and the search button have been my friend and helped me to the green side of the force. Lol. I'm sleepy sorry.

I don't see it.

Hope that helps. I'm just wondering what it is. As long as you guys see it, I know it's not a manufacturing defect in my TB.

Don't have it on mine. Did you get a screen protector put on by any chance? Could be a residual water bubble working it's way out??

I see the bubble wierd. Kind of strange but doesn't bother me. U think some complaints are fine, people spent their money on it and they can complain.

Granted a lot of people are knit picking but oh well. I care what others so I judge it for myself. If complaints are scaring people off then they might be better off without this phone.

I personally would still rather not have the kickstand myself but I see no reason to complain about it, just a feature I won't hardly use. Seems well made so that helps.

Did I mention the 4g is fast!

Edit: man I love the phandroid app.

Yup. Just a bubble

I don't have one either.....Maybe the eyes aren't as good as they used to be :p

Went thru this when we all got our Droid Eris. Some could see it, some couldnt. I had realized that you need to be in Direct Sunlight (Or some other bright light) to see the proximity Sensor.

So lessons learned and here you go guys!

This is a Proximity Sensor. It is what turns your LCD Screen off when you are on a call and you place the phone up to your ear.

Also, this is used for the "Auto Speaker Phone". If enabled, this sensor along with the internal G-Sensor will turn speaker phone on when you are on a call and place the phone down on a surface screen down.

Expecting a blackberry experience? God I hope not. Super laggy OS. 10 year old web browser experience. LOL. I've owned a blackberry. Worst smart phones ever.
