They must be using a VPN then. Which is the thing one might need when doing certain non-PRC things from the PRC. Although the Twitter is in English, I would suspect the launch itself will be in Mandarin.

The live stream is on Youku apparently, which should work in the UK. I've watched Youku from the UK before now.
 
Mike will Youku work without flash mate or should I get working on a flash hack?
My sleep patterns are all over the shop so there's a fair chance I'll be awake and I just love a hardware launch (when it isn't sammy) :)

If you're viewing the mobile Youku site, that shouldn't need Flash, similar to YouTube. The full desktop site requires Flash though. Youku has an official app as well... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.youku.phone

However this is a live stream rather than regular uploaded videos, so I'm only guessing how they're going to handle it.

If it's going to be on at 2:30PM CST. I'm in school giving lessons.

For anyone who hasn't seen the OnePlus Chinese ad and if Youku is a problem outside of China, I just posted it to YouTube.
Buying a new phone in China can be really like that.

The Youku app only works in Chinese, I'm sure. Don''t think you can even copy paste URLs into it either.

Rumored dimensions confirmed: 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm. It's closer to a 5.5" phablet than a 5" phone :(

Much bigger than we were led to expect, if you ask me. Longer than a Note 3 and even bigger than the Oppo Find 7A.
