And the Nokia Lumia 520 won for best low cost smartphone. Haven't used it, but I've seen it recommended many times when looking for a budget phone.

Would have voted for the Moto G.

Hey, I'm all for windows phones. I used one once and seriously loved everything about it. Just had a lack of apps/games I wanted, and the tiles are not totally in realtime. Meaning I can't just like tap on a tile and be brought to the exact information that they are showing. I may consider getting a Windows phone one day.
But will always have that soft spot for Android.

That's because the phone they're releasing has ultra low spec hardware that won't run windows. I think I read that they've made Android look and feel a bit like a dumbed down version of windows, though.
