Two features I always see people requesting for their next phone, glad LG included bothRemovable battery and expandable storage should make a lot of the Samsung refugees happy.

It does support Qi-enabled wireless charging, but not PMA.No wireless charging? That's too bad, especially if you want the leather and don't go with a generic charging back like was available for the G3.
If you really want to look deep into file trees and into system's files (pretty much Android's System32) then you need to root it, other than that. It looks like you're one of those that went for IOS but loves customization. Which IOS lacks (not bashing but it doesn't have as much as android).Hi. I just wanted to say I am an iPhone user, and I have been doing a lot of research about a switch because I am sick of iTunes and having to deal with the apple environment. I also noted that iOS 8.3 seems to be removing the third-party file management apps, which I use because I am a PC person who likes to see and manage file trees. I also do a lot of commuting without wifi/cloud access, and roll with lossless tunes when possible. So, I am done with crApple as they seem try to jam me with their version of content and file (mis)management. Also wanted to note that I was all set on the Galaxy S6 until I saw the lack of microSd. Dumb Samsung - really? Some folks don't feel the importance, but I do, based on my needs, including the need to not be cloud or device tethered with my data, or carry around a freakin' USB drive. So, it will be G3 or G4 for me, as I feel a bit more future-proof with Lg than Samsung, though nothing is future proof, I can see which company is heading in right direction for my purposes. I am not anti-cloud, it is nice for some stuff, but I just want control and flexibility. Folks, you may wake up one day with all "your" data under someone else's control in a cloud. It is up to you how you wish to vote economically, this is just my personal opinion, I respect and am interested in the opinion of others, and so I will continue with my research and probably buy a G4 in summer - thanks. PS - if anybody has tips for a newbie I am all ears.
Hear you on that - thanks! Rooting? Gotta walk before I run!If you really want to look deep into file trees and into system's files (pretty much Android's System32) then you need to root it, other than that. I am used to the Note 4 so this would be smaller. Not a fan of the leather, but there are other options. Main concern for me is the curve of the display and how it might impact usability with VR devices. This is one long time Samsung owner who is ready to jump ship just for the removable battery, I think Samsung shot themselves in the foot over this issue. PhilRemovable battery and expandable storage should make a lot of the Samsung refugees happy.
would have liked the fast charge though, and wireless as standard

Could be right after all.....

Still not sure what phone to get :-(

I believe the s6 does. I know the note 4 came with one.Yeah, saw that earlier.
I'm the same boat as you, I've no idea what I want my next phone to be. I wanted something bugger than 5 inches, but I'd also love to go back to HTC.
At the moment, the G4 is ticking more boxes, but something is holding me back.
Yeah riviera, it could be you don't get a quick charger in the box. None of this years flagships come with a quick charger do they?
