Hello all, today I chatted with a samsung usa support specialist about the galaxy rush getting jelly bean 4.1 and she has confirmed that it is currently in development and the next update will be to the jelly bean software.

In a way i saw this coming, they took the prevail from froyo to gingerbread and that phone had terrible internal memory. I personally had that phone, freaking awesome when u mess with it lol. But considering the internal memory on this phone, by good graces of good we could get keylime pie 5.0

This isn't gonna happen as it's already been confirmed that the Rush won't be getting Jellybean, but I guess time will tell all...

Slayer its coming, boost just tried to cover up accidental ota leaks. Boost said no jb for the venice but the venice just started getting 4.1.2 jb ota since yesterday. Boost also said no jb for the ruah and sequent but dont worry its coming.

Jellybean kernel source for rush has been uploaded by Samsung a few hours ago expect an ota within the next few days.

nah, install the update and flash cwm and flash root. that method will always work

Yeah a buddy of mine couldn't update due to the removal of bloatware but I sent him back to stock and got it for him.
He was so happy he bought me two monsters.
Not one,but two!

You should be able to you may have to wait because the update is coming in batches.
And if you can't update over ota, very soon someone will post a cwmr flash able or even a jb ROM.

Who can turn it into a CWM flashable for us?

I feel that it's beyond my know-how else I'd do it myself...

I decided on doing it this way so we can avoid the inevitable "I flashed this in CWM and it says installation aborted" posts
