Hi, I too installed jellybean a few weeks ago and have had the same symptoms including phone crashing and hot screen. I removed the micro sd card which had some apps on it from ICS, and also disabled google plus. The phone is now fine. Battery life is back to normal. I will format the card then put it back in.
