Help JellyBean Advice - Galaxy Nexus

Hi all. I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon wireless. I currently have my mobile phone service with PagePlus and I've been using a Sprint LG Marquee for my phone. Since it's a Sprint phone on Verizon's network, the picture and video messaging has never worked, but the people at the retailer I go to said if I had a Verizon phone on PagePlus it'd be no problem. So anyway, I bought the Nexus yesterday and from talking to the seller, I found out it's running ICS (not a new phone, two months old). Even before I get the service switched over to the Nexus, will I be able to update to JB via WiFi? Or is that only for people who are using Verizon? And, if I can't get the JB updates (JR0030) via WiFi, is there an official ROM Google hosts somewhere that I could download it?

Thanks! I appreciate the info. Does anyone recommend any particular ROM for the Galaxy Nexus when going from ICS to JB? I saw that JellyBelly was the one built from JRO03R, the update VZW customers get, so do I need to use that one?

Also, I have to take my Nexus to my phone store to get it flashed for PagePlus - should I root and flash JB before or after they change what they have to change with my phone to put it on the PagePlus network?

Thanks in advance! I apologize for all the questions, I'm very technology savvy but I've never had to flash an android device over before, so I wanna make sure I'm thorough! Thanks again!

Phone arrived in the mail today! Took it out, verified it was on ICS 4.0.4. I then went to settings > apps and force stopped & clear data to google frameworks, went to settings > about > system update and im now getting jro030 ota! dont even have service on the phone! so turned out things are good the easy way now haha, i really appreciate all the help.

now just time to figure out how to use the phone on the pageplus network! i'll start another thread for that though

Eh, looks like I spoke too soon. Have tried downloading and installing JB 4 times now, every time during install I get the red triangle exclamation mark. On the last attempt, I did a factory reset and then tried and still no luck. Any ideas on what thats about

That's the stock recovery screen. When you're on that screen, press and hold the power button and then press volume up. That should bring up the stock recovery options. Perhaps try wiping cache which should clear the ota download. Maybe you got an incomplete download or something.

Thanks for the info! I tried that to no avail. When I open the recovery, here's what it says:

Any information would be great! Again, thanks in advanced and for everything so far - you guys are great
