I was for sure if this has been asked Ive seen it for other phone but not this. When is Jellybean suppose to hit LG Esteem?

theoretically? probly still never... lol but im sure some themes will be made haha
 
Listen alot of people on metro always asking about all the new updates from android fact is metro will not be providing us with ice cream sandwich nor will they be providing us with no jelly bean. only hope that seems to be a long shot is someone porting it over to the esteem and even then i read on here somewere it requires a legit non-modified kernel for the jelly bean that is. so if u just bought the esteem and was looking forward to all the android updated software sorry to dissappoint ya but better to be told the truth than to be led on to believe something else.

Lol u might be playing around but just incase its android latest software see the ice cream sandwich is android 4.0 the jellybean is android software 4.1 which is totally worked from ground up meaning new kernel new protocols everything is new on it so whatever was common on froyo gingerbread and ics has been re-invented on 4.1
 
But wait if they release a high end device like an s3 later on it will come with ics also keeping in mind competition is tight

Haha, they'll never release anything of great quality. They have to cater to people who can't or refuse to pay for high-end phones and service.
 
JB won't hit devices until sometime 2013.. if where still around..and it's android 5.0 and i think asus will be seeing this version before any other company..
 
eventually yes we will get a device with ics but im sure it will be way after jellybean is released on several devices.

It's not the Phone. People just don't want a contract. IM sure they will release a good Phone.

It's 4.1 not 5.0.

Actually the nexus tablet and the phone will be released with the jelly bean 4.1 software. dont know where u got 5.0 from but 4.1 is jelly bean

Yes google is using asus technology with their tablest but the tablet is called nexus not asus ill find u the press release video.


Edit: its called the google nexus 7 tablet and will be the first android device on 4.1 jelly bean not 5.0

yes asus makes computer components and pc's i have a asus but only thing im saying is nexus 90% is asus with google os..:)

You damn right and only $200 thats cheap as hell especially considering its quad core?? and is running on a asus motherboard with high end graphics?!?!?! that blows my mind!!!
 
My only question is will this new software be backward compatible with everything on the market already? well not sure its something to worry about im sure google thought about everything already.
 
yeah...and for 50 dollars more you can get twice the memory...they are practically giving these things away!! my cynic sense is tingling...lol. is it weird to anyone else that its so cheap?
 
well it is only 7 inches and perhaps they are more focused on putting heat on the competition against other tablets especially apple's ipad
 
Its $200 for the 8gb one. Not really worth it. Never liked 8gb devices. I would rather pay for the 16gb which is $249. Price is still great for a 16gb.
