I have the kk2.2 kernel and CTMOD. I installed the Joymod, and when I tried to use the phone dialer it said this is not installed on this phone. The contacts had the same problem. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Did you wipe your data when you installed joy mod?
Because you were supposed to.

Yes, I wiped three times. I didn't do a factory reset though, I don't know if it will remove my root. I didn't restore any apps either

you have to wipe data factory reset, it wont take out root, Root can only go if you unroot your phone all you have to do is wipe Data/factory reset 3 times and your good to go!:cheers:

OK, keep wiping and wiping but still have no phone dialer or contacts. Has anyone gotten joymod to work with kk2.2 kernel and CTMOD? I would love to show this mod off, but I'm about to give up. :-(

HUH ???????????? What are you trying to do ????? JoyMod is a ROM, CTMod is also a ROM, you can only use one or the other.
And NO, I don't think koumakernel will work with Joymod unless Kouma made a special version for it !!! As far as I know, Joymod only works with kato kernel !!!! CTMod only with Koumakernel !!!
Could have the mixing stuff together caused your problem ??? Specific ROMS are for specific phones, same with kernels. You can't just mix them up !!!

Oh, I feel stupid! Lol. I got mokee mod working on kk2.2 kernel, so I just figured joymod would work too. Where can I get Kato kernel?

However, READ about the ROM you like to use and what kernel it needs..... If you can't figure out something, better ask first, before your phone becomes a paper weight !!!
