Jumping Ship

I kept getting errors. And this was a half hour before it was scheduled to go live. Had it in my cart and everything :(

lucky for me coming to the office early (8:30am PST) and surprised to see it's available already. Struggled with the ordering for half an hour thinking of giving up, but all of a sudden got the email confirmation. Looks like one of the early attempts actually went through. :)

Damn. I wasn't persistent enough. I'm not as bummed out as I thought I was gonna be lol

I already sold my Evo so I wasn't taking no for an answer. I need a phone lol. Luckily I only had to refresh the page for 5 minutes before I got my order to go through. I just called Google support to ask about when they would have more in stock and they couldn't give me an answer other than just keep checking back at the website.

WOW everyones doing the same thing haha but i actually bought a Galaxy Nexus that im switching to tmob with (Nexus 4 is cool, but im not a LG fan). im going to sell the triumph and the evo once my number port goes through which more than covers what i paid for the nexus. and speaking of number port, has anyone else had trouble with porting to Tmobile? ive had a pending request for over a week now and my number is still "in progress". i keep calling the CSR and they give me the same answer that "its been approved by Virgin but its still being brought to us [tmob]".?

Anyone have any experience porting a number from VM to another company, then porting it back to VM again? (in case it doesn't work out)

actually a few months ago i ported from VM to Straight Talk (tried an iPhone for a week, hated it) and then back to VM again and it all went smooth. just dont cancel your line before you port, apparently thats the number one reason ports fail haha

My sister really liked the Sensation when it was introduced, literally took under an hour to port her number from the Wildfire S.

Still waiting for the Nexus 4 to come back in stock, which hopefully will not be much longer. But I'm jumping ship when I can. This phone is good, but I like the idea of having updates once they're available. Plus it's a good deal. :)

It'd be hard to get over not having a sd card

Could be a while. I got my order in on launch day and mine still hasn't even shipped. They're on backorder because Google sold more than it actually had, plus their servers crashed halfway through the launch and all the orders got jumbled up. This launch has been one big mess.

No worse than the launch of the Evo V. :D

Like others on this site, I too switched from my EVO V to the Google Nexus 4 this morning.

Unlike other posts, my order went through first time. Perhaps Google solved their order problems from yesterday.

And yes--it did say 4-5 weeks for delivery.
