I absolutely love the phone coming from the ZTE WARP which did nothing but freeze and reboot. And I went through 5 of them ! Yes 5 !.

The SII runs flawlessly, fast and smooth with Jellybean to boot. And bonus, my area gets 4g by March as verified by our local Boost store and Boost corporate.

Looking forward to being part of your forum! ;)

How did you get Jellybean is that a Custom Rom

I use jellyverse fl16.. the sprint jb roms really are something to try. Just be sure to follow the install instructions.

I am anxiously waiting for mine to arrive so that I can join the S2 club and install JB on it.

Don't want to disappoint you but I bet that Boost is talking about 4G LTE coming soon and the S2 is not compatible with LTE. The S2 will work with 4G wimax, but Boost/Sprint is not expanding the wimax network any more.

If I'm wrong, somebody let us know.

That's right. Sprint is no longer expanding WiMax, only LTE which is not compatible with the S2. So if they're talking about getting 4G to a new area, most likely it's LTE

Received my S2 and once activated I flashed GA10 and now am installing my apps via Titanium Backup. Love the phone...

HA! I upgraded from the older Samsung prevail. This phone is light years ahead in speed.

No comparison eh? You can actually run more than one app at the same time!

My first few days of having it I was streaming internet radio, running gps/Nav apps and searching for food on Google local. Oh and "iOnRoad" recording dash cam video during the drive. For the record my wife was driving! :D The Prevail was a great little phone but 2+ apps simultaneously would bring it to its knees!

Well the little Prevail has like 1/4th the power of the SGS2. I did speed up my prevail though without over clocking. I ran honeybread 6 on it and then used chainfire 3d to drop the display to a 16bit image (no noticeable difference in image quality but makes the phone much faster). My SGS2 still just blows past it..

This phone has LTE options in the hidden menu, but it lacks the radio to run it.With that said I can only say I hope that means we will get the S3 and LTE on boost.

The first one I got, when I received my first call and it was actually in bb parking lot lol , well my speaker was busted and sounded like charlie browns teacher lol but got another one and i do love it wow a step above any phone i have ever had .
