Root just flashed myns warm 2.2 rls4...problems

hey guys just flased rls4 and im aving some problems... the phone seems to be having problems with setcpu... i have profiles set so that when the screens off it only runs at 245 and for some reason when the screen is on it stay at 245...

also my gmail email wont load....i get an error every time i open it

any help wld be appreciated guys!! thanksss

I think that has a setcpu built into it doesn't it? Can't use both or one overrides the other if I'm not mistaken. Have you tried to recover then reflash?

what is your scaling in setcpu? what kernel are you running?

hey guys i figuered it out, for some reason it thought my screen was sleeping when i had it on so i rebooted the phone and it fixed it..

just the stock kernal that come with it.. i wasnt sure which 1 to flash.. htc-kernel@and18-2 #17

i read that if i did rls 5 i wld have to flash a cpl radios so i just decided to try rls4 bc ive never used any radios.

the gmail thing is still happening tho, any suggestions?
 
ok for kernels check out ref#3 of my sig for some info on them. my suggestion would be try netarchy toastmod kernels. just keep in mind that not all kernels will react the same way on every phone. my phone seems to like havs more and havs less kernels. you can get the kernels in ref#2 of my sig.

as far as you gmail thing, try and wipe cache and dalvik cahe in recovery and see if that helps.

as far as rls 4 vs rls 5 goes it is based off the current software 3.70. what hboot and radios do you have?

thanks so much for the help, i will check out the kenel u sugested.. and as far as hboot im not sure what that is. i just flashed myns and that was all lol sorry im a newb and for radios i dont have any
 
power off the press and hold down power+vol down
in green writing it should tell you what hboot you are on. it should look something like this:

SUPERSONIC EVT2-3 SHIP S-OFF

TOUCH PANEL-ATMEL224_16ab
RADIO-2.15.00.09.01

so you have all the latest stuff (radios and hboot) no need to worry about updating radios. there are a few roms that in order for them to work you would have to flash and downgrade your radios. most roms now are current so you are good to go.
