Help Just Got the Rezound...

My phone does last me throughout the school day, but ends the day at 9-20%. I can stare at the battery for 10mins and watch it drop down. I have a 3.8v battery so maybe this is the issue since people with 3.7v don't get the same issues as I do.

Some issues I have is the battery will NOT charge to 100%. It is only charging to 86-92%. I'm not sure if this is from CleanROM ICS but I don't think it is.

So, how much battery life does everyone get in a days use? What is your battery (3.7v or 3.8v)? And how do you use your phone?

Depending on what everyone else gets, I may take the battery back to Best Buy and ask for a 3.7v battery. :)

Thanks for the help everybody.

Check the link in Pat3332's post #4. That 100% thing is mentioned. And I'm one of those who have the extended battery with case and I like it. It feels "substantial". I got the battery and this case: http://www.amazon.com/HTC-REZOUND-EXTENDED-BATTERY-KICKSTAND/dp/B00696W41C from VZ for $51 and change.

I definitely understand needing to conserve finances. I think it depends on the people in the Verizon store you go to, but at mine, I work with a rep that is happy to let me try things like that before I buy it. I buy everything from her so she gets the commission, so keeps me happy. Best Buy has been pretty good about letting me open a box to check something also. Last time I think it was to check the amp & voltage output on a car charger because it didn't say on the box. Just go to the store and ask them.

When you go in, ask them if the battery is on sale and that you'd like to see what your phone looks and feels like before you buy it. At Verizon, it's often on sale at 1/2 off, but sometimes you have to ask and frequently even the reps don't know what's on sale until they ring it up at the register, but they can check. Also check online because sometimes things will be on sale at their website, but not in the stores.

Sometimes I forget about the little features Android has. Some choices are in the Menu/Settings options and some are in the setup options of the app and sometimes both. If you're looking for an option, just remember to try the menu and also don't forget to try a long press on menu, or other options. Sometimes that brings up sub menus and additional choices. It's easy to forget those things, especially if you're in a hurry.

I'm probably going to back to best buy this weekend or sometime during the week and I'll see if I can check out the extended battery and if I like it I'll wait till it's on sale. I'm definitely going to ask for a new battery though.

Oh, right. Where's a guide to unrooting the phone so when I take it back I won't have superuser. I know it'll still show it has been rooted but I just need to remove root just in case.
