Just ordered a G2

I hope I made the right choice!

I'm currently with AT&T and I'm not happy with them because my bill is always over $100 for one line.

I think that android offers more freedom to the individual end-user, but that is just a personal opinion. Tmo is a pretty decent company. I have been with them for 6 years now, and its been my experience that they really try to take care of their customers. As far as this phone, I think its the best android experience that Tmo offers atm.

Its a good phone, I just couldn't stand all the apps added by T-mo/google. So I rooted to remove them. Now I am flashing new roms about once a week. It was good stock though.

The preinstalled permanent apps were a turn-off at first, but once I took them off my home screens, they didn't bother me as much and it became an "out of sight, out of mind" thing.

I also switched from a Bold 9700 (but stayed with TMobile). I couldn't be more happier.

If you're a physical keyboard person, I personally don't like the one that the G2 has to offer. I feel that the number row should have a row on its own and not stuck with the QWERTY row (but that's just personal preference).

One of the major reasons I bought this phone was for the keyboard and I find myself not using it because of Swype. If I get frustrated with Swype, I bust out the keyboard--but rarely.

One thing I miss about BlackBerry is BBM. That's about it. The games and apps are much better.

You'll be happy :)
