Welcome to the AndroidForums, Cwazyn (and sorry your first post was made under these circumstances :().

I'm not familiar with the root process for the SGS2, but you would typically want to have protected yourself from a boot-loop by first making a Nandroid backup (from which you could restore should any bad things happen) from your custom recovery.

I'm guessing that this is not the case however...? :(

I would hate to direct you to take any action other than waiting for the very knowledgeable folks here in the SGS2 all-things-root sub-forum to weigh-in with their sage advice.

Good luck!

I hope when you rooted you also installed a custom recovery like Clockwork Mod. If you did, finding a rooted stock rom or custom rom and flashing it can be your way of getting out of bootloops. Like scaryalien, I do not have much experience with the galaxy s II but with my experience with clockwork mod, I believe you can fix your phone.

I suggest you wait for the advice of your fellow SGSII compadres because maybe there's another way.

hello guys
thanks for the tips but no like a fool i didnt install any recovery file. I just downloaded bloat freezer and froze something that just makes the phone open the operator logo screen and then the samsung screen and then the process starts all over again, and just repeats itself. I have tried to flash to the original firmware but still no luck. Not too sure what else to try! any suggestions welcome!!

u could try a factory reset? boot into recover mode (power off, then press volume UP+home+power button) til it boots into recovery and select wipe data/factory reset. this will wipe ur device, but im not sure wat else u could try, if flashing a stock firmware didnt work

I'm guessing you used ODIN and if you can get into download mode then may be you can still install a custom recovery. I've read people have rooted and installed a custom recovery by using CF-Root Kernel. You might want to research to see if you can do that even though you are already rooted.

Sorry for not being an expert but I hope you can get your phone working again.

If you rooted your phone using the CF-Root method, then with the phone off you should be able to load CWM Manager by pressing the Home Key+Vol UP+Power and hold it until you get into Recovery Mode (easiest way into the mode is with the phone fully powered off and holding/pressing the keys in the order above). From there, you should be able to flash whatever custom rom you want. VillainRom apparently has the best success and compatibility with the SGS II. You may need to load the ROM image file onto an SDHC card and flash it from there.

Never actually tried it, just suggesting from what I have read others have had to do. Unfortunately though, you will loose everything on your phone and will not be able to go back to stock rom if you do the above. AFAIK, there is no Bell SGSII stock rom or image available yet.
