Root Just rooted new to smartphones

Ok i just got my Ally and i rooted it because i want to undervolt. But dont know that much about flashing roms.. Also How to i back up all my pics and music and so on..

i got it but one last question. do i lose my pics and contacts on my phone after i flash..

ok i back up rom it wont load or let it back up said it was broken in rm dont know what im doing wrong but about to chunk this thing out the window

If you are unsure then you shouldn't be flashing roms. Read up and do your research first.
