I need a totally unmodified ics user. No zips removed. No deodex. No root. Your totally stock. I need them to also have the stock recovery and be soff. Once soff get the ota from settings and flash it. You can then flash twrp and give me the system backup

I have a spare phone at home that has ics. I will attempt to bring it back to stock, including stock recovery. Once I do that I will contact you so I can send you the backup.
FWIW, I have an ICS backup available now that has the voicemail working properly, if that helps.

I have a nandroid that could bring me back to non-rooted ics stock odex. The only problem is that I already have CWM flashed. I'm not sure if I can still help or not. Maybe if I could somehow restore the stock recovery??

I believe that it can be done, but unfortunately, I don't know the procedure

FYI my ## codes are working, just msl say wrong code.

I do not have a copy of stock recovery, but I'm sure someone does. If they do we should be able to fastboot it.

According to these root instructions, I should have a copy of stock recovery. But last night, when I flashed the nandroid, I was still able to access CWM through the bootloader. Is that okay? I'm not sure if I'd be able to install the OTA because of that.

The update should also work with stock recovery that came with the OTA.zip.
Inside the OTA.zip ist a firmware.zip and inside this is the recovery.img.
So, a stock cwm backup, stock boot.img and this recovery could work.
But i don't know, if the firmware/radio files that are in simons rom can cause problems.

Hm. In any case, I'm going to upload the nandroid. I can't work on my phone until MUCH later tonight because I'm expecting a very important phone call and the time it would take for me to work and download everything will take a really long time (very slow internet). I hope it helps :\

Everything seems to be working really nicely except, oddly Bluetooth audio (headset) seems to have gone a little wonky. I've tried two headsets and both are experiencing the same issue - I can hear the other person, but all they hear from me are crackles.

Pre-update this was all working and as I've now tried with two headset devices (my car and a stand-alone Jabra thing), I wonder if there is anything in this rom that could be causing this, if anyone else has this issue, or if there's anything I can do to try and isolate the root cause?

Thanks,
Shaun

can anyone call another boost mobile customer? my wife and I both have boost, and cant call each other. we get the error message that "the code or number you have dialed is incorrect."

I was on the phone with boost when i originally posted that. apparently, there is an outtage in my area.Middlesex/Monmouth county nj

I can call everyone plus my Bluetooth is working fine. Having trouble with my kernel app though.. Gonna send Bloodawn a logcat when I can since its his app.

I was one of the ones who was impatient and tried the OTA. When it got to the recovery it just crashed. When this rom came out I tried to flash it and I just got stuck on black screen. I was able to get the phone working but now I noticed that I am at s-on again but it still has the moonshine branding at the top. I tried moonshine again and I am still s-on. Nothing will flash in fastboot keep getting "FAILED (remote: signature verify fail") for everything. Not sure what I did, and not sure where to go from here. Need some help please!!

I'm not having any troubles sending or receiving calls or making them in South Jersey

are u using the ics version of moonshine with jelly bean? if so try the new jelly bean version of moonshine for boost. i believe they posted it on moonshine.io a few days back

By the way, I uploaded the nandroid to my dropbox and sent a link to simon. Does anyone else wanna try doing what Simon suggested? The nandroid SHOULD return you to non-rooted/modified, odex stock ics rom. And according to the root without overwrite thread, it should also have the original boot and recovery files, though the last time I restored it, I was still able to access CWM (is that normal?? maybe you have to fastboot the recovery.img file???).

I'd do it myself, but stuff came up and I won't be able to do it for a while.

No problem, hopefully Simon will fix these little details for us.

just noticed mine isnt working either, No FC's or anything like that. it seems to run fine, but no sound.
IMHO i would rather have the voicemail app working instead of the radio. Its just my personal preference, since i use voicemail on a daily basis. I've never used the radio app.

The radio doesn't work for me either but you could use IHeartRadio

True, but when you live in a crappy signal area like me, fm radio is the #1 choice :)
