Just curious.....
Have any of you reverted back to ICS yet?[/QUOTE]

I did. Thanks to Shin and Simon and everyone else that made that possible! I'm soooooo glad I got to try it before getting stuck with an ota. I'll wait for the guru's to develop a custom rom and try that. Until then ics it is.

I may end up doing the same thing and just disabling the update. I'm gonna think about it them make my decision. :D

I understand completely. That is the reason I check mine every few hours in case i have one that doesn't show up as a missed call. Nice to know Simon has addressed the issue and will be working on it.

I did this morning. All is working fine, but, I miss JB already!
Did anyone do the OTA and if so, does everything work?

I would have went back and done the OTA but from my understanding I can't because I'm already S-Off.

same thing with me. I have a spare One sv and i restored it to stock ICS, recovery, etc. it starts the install and at 1/4 of the way, it fails.

If you restore to total stock all you have to do from there is relock and accept the ota from settings and I mean total stock not a thing changed b

Does anyone have a totally stock CWM Backup they could provide?

I was gonna sk the same thing. Only one thing though... I've never actually flashed a CWM backup from another phone but I know people who have and it wouldn't flash. They got a mismatch error.

there has to be a way for us to get the official OTA. I'm just curious to see if voicemail and bluetooth work with the official un-modded version. I absolutely love Simon's zip, but voicemail and bluetooth are must have apps for me. I'm in sales and if i do not respond to a call, it could be disastrous for my company.

I totally understand your situation.

After giving it a bit of thought, I believe I'm just going to stick w/ JB for right now. I've got my phone set up the way I want it and it's running great. Hopefully we'll see a custom ROM released soon. I'm really looking forward to CM10. Maybe even Paranoid Android! Now that would be SWEET!! :D

If you would, please let me know if you get it figured out with JB. Also, please post the steps used if you are successful. Thanks! ;)

Hey guys, need a k2_cl user who knows how to use android kitchen to make them a boot.img from this link. If you can make an anykernel zip, that will do too.... Need to know if WIFI, Bluetooth, audio, video, (basically need to know if everything works to save time here)

My phone is completely stock and I did the OTA. Voicemail works fine. FM radio works. I haven't done anything with bluetooth besides file transfers to my work computer but that seems to be working fine as well. My battery life seems to have been cut in half though, even with Google Now off.

I've tried repeatedly to go back to stock and do the update, to no avail. I must be missing some bloatware files. It downloads fine but fails on the install. If anyone has a fully stock backup they can post, it would be greatly appreciated.

can you please do the following for me on your phone,
1) Root
2) install terminal emulator
3) Install busybox
4) open terminal emulator and follow below steps
4a) type "dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p35 of=/sdcard2/system.img"
4b) type "dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p20 of=/sdcard2/boot.img"
5) Upload these two files (zipped will make it a bit smaller) to dropbox or wherever

this will allow me to fix a lot of the odds and ends :)

Goo.im Downloads - Downloading anykernel-SickKernelv10-4.1.2-071813.zip

This one works. Enjoy guys. if you want to enable s2w in terminal emulator do
echo "1" > /sys/android_touch/sweep2wake
echo "BACK" > /sys/android_touch/sweep2wake_startbutton
echo "MENU" > /sys/android_touch/sweep2wake_endbutton

eventually I may just set it to be enabled automatically

Just flashed this and having a WiFi issue. It's stuck at "turning on.."
Any help would be appreciated.

flash the STOCK boot.img from the HTC firmware.zip in the OTA then flash my anykernel. It doesnt change the ramdisk to insmod /system/lib/modules/ instead of /lib/modules
