Okay so now to the instructions.
S-OFF
Install TWRP OR CWM
Download the rom.
Download wiper fix.
Factory reset.
Flash rom.
Flash wiper fix.
reboot phone.
Enjoy.

If your not S-OFF this rom wont work. Sorry, but you'll have to do it.

Found this JB to be a bit buggy:
1) I frequently cannot paste from my clipboard. Long press in a field frequently does not show the paste option.
2) Loved the battery life of the HTC One SV, but now it drains much more quickly.

I don't have any problems with my clipboard and there's a battery saver option built into jb.

sys it won't work without s off. what is s off ? how do I know if I am s off already?

I got an already roode ICS one SV. i borked it installed font installer (clearly it did not like that) no about of wiping and resetting in CWM would make it boot up.

is s off part of root so if I am rooted I am already done s off? can I do s off without booting the phone? ie from CWM ?

If you power off your phone and boot into the bootloader it will say s-on or s-off. If you want info about s-off you should check out the moonshine thread.

Hello guys. I wanted to tell you all if you haven't already flashed this, please do not. It is broken in a few ways, due to the way the update was applied. I have managed to fix it locally. I'm going to deodex it and fix stuff up for proper flashing sometime today hopefully, however I may not be able to. I am working on getting sense 5 ported over.

Thank you very much! I prefer your ROM to the latest stock update!
Everything works, except the FM Radio. It looks like the radio tunes in and locks station frequencies, but there is no audio output. Audio works fine in other apps.
Thanks again!

That's because I didn't have good kernel sources. Flash my new kernel :)

I had a rooted jelly bean through cwm, I was rooted with s off through moonshine I used cwm recovery to flash your Rom, I cleared everything applied your sys fix and now I can't gain root access please help

if you flashed superSU through CWM, that's the problem.

thus ROM has superuser by koush already in it

so after flashing Another superuser, a.k.a. superSU, now there are 2 system apps with 2 different su binaries that cancel each other out

to fix the issue

wipe the system

wipe data

wipe cache

wipe dalvick

reflash the ROM

reflash symlink

reboot

I have done all that already however im doing it through my phone using the clockword mod recovery do I have to do it through adb and if so how also looking at super su on the market it apeears to be having problems with latest update

Why not just update to 4.1.2 via OTA?

!#EDIT#

make sure NOT to flash any superuser because this ROM is pre-rooted with Koush's superuser

ok so i have the new kernel(v20) and voicemail is working great thanks simon for that patch, i cannot stay rooted though i completley wiped my phone to the point i thought i had bricked it after i redownloaded your boost file i applied using zip from sd card on cwm recovery through phone, then i applied your symlink the way then fixed premissions when i rebooted it it showed the su request in the ntification bar i tapped on it it said the binaries were out of date i tried installing it using the cwm method it went into recovery then gave me a meesage over signature couldnt be verified and the blue status bar stopped about a quarter of the way i let it sit for an hour no change then i went ahead and selected install untrusted zip it stopped at instaling binaries i had to reboot then no root access so i reflashed your zip files again same way then instead of hitting install through cwm i chose install it worked untiul the phone powered off now i cant get root to work at all also if i flash the zip file again do i need to reflash the v20 kmernel

ok so it says this

e: signature verificatiion failed
installing update...
installing superuser...
installing armeabi binaries

then stops and displays the boot methods

this is if i select update through cwm

try using TWRP and when binaries need updating just click normal way.

they'll install just fine with out booting into recovery to do it

After many reflash and reboots I got it figured out I had to download the boost file from Simons, to my desktop removed his superuser.apk and installed with a supersu.apk put phone into recovery used install using sideload installed that plus symlink fix, after reboot everything worked great, I did have to reflash the v20 kernel again. I don't know if it was the superuser.apk inside that file, or the cwm that was making it screwy hopefully this can help someone else with the same issue I do still have a copy of it as well

Couldn't you just have installed supersu through play store? That's what I've done. In its settings is an option to remove the other super user app.
