Help Keeping the screen lock clock?

Is there any way to keep the screen lock clock on the desktop when the phone is unlocked? I like the style and haven't found anything similar (yet).

If you get Beautiful Widgets, smaller home has about the same size clock and the skin Naked Droid has the almost exact same look IMO

I think is about the same font as the lock clock. Beautiful Widgets with beautifulglass font.

That looks close enough, although it would have been nice to keep the same positioning without any fade transitions. Does the lock clock fade out and this one fades in when you unlock the phone?

Before I buy, I noticed several comments about the Beautiful widgets clock and/or weather not updating. Has anyone experienced anything like this, particularly with LauncherPro (which I currently run)?

It's been working fine for me. If it doesn't update just press the weather and then press refresh. You can change the refresh rate, it's set for 2 hours, which is why it appears to be off and not updating. I changed mine to 30 minutes.

No clock updating problems then?

The X is my first smart phone and hence my first Android phone. This was one of the first things that jumped out at me. I can't have the same EXACT clock on my lock and home screen? Really? Install additional apps/skins etc, really? These simple, but missing things are what add to the somewhat disjoint feel of the phone. Overall I'm pleased with the phone but Google/Motorola/Verizon still have work to do polish, fill in and smooth out the "default" set of widgets/apps.
