I have been trying a few kernels out. When i install, All goes well. But when i go in to my my phone to check the kernel, It always says the same thing. It never changes to the kernel loaded in. Why is this?

If you mean this screen shot

where it says kernel this will always say that. Android 2.1 [Eclair] is 2.6.29, Froyo [2.2] is 2.6.32
The best way to check is using setcpu and hitting info

Right at the top it should tell you what you are looking for

Thanks. I did purchase it, But i do not see anything on my screen that yours doesnt say. The only difference is the email address in the line. Is that what the change is? And if it tells you what your kernel is, why is that guy in the other post asking what kernel you are running? lol

Yes the email address pretty much tells you who built it. He was probably asking since he hadnt seen that brand of kernel before.
Basically, there are 6-7 guys who ever made kernels for Fascinate and about 3 who are actively doing it now. Everyone has their own little niche.
jt aka willyzx or something like that is like the tree and everyone else is a branch off his original kernel work. Most guys like have their name in their kernel info like adrynalyne or geekink. Nemesis used his real name since he didnt have stalkers at the time :p. imnuts is now making them but I have not tried his and dont know what his info says.
Basically if you want voodoo or not, OC or not and UV or not there is a kernel for you made by someone in the past month
