Hello all! Due to popular demand, I am releasing this kernel individually and before planned. Here it is, the highly re-modified BlitzKrieg Kernel w/ working HDMI!!! It will continue to be a work in progress! I hope you all enjoy!!!

What is this?
This is a overclocked, slight undervolted Kernel. It is very fast while hopefully maintaining good battery life.

How do I install this?
1.) Download the .zip & make sure 4g is enabled.
2.) Place zip in external sdcard
3.) Back up
4.) Go to install zip from sdcard
5.) Select BlitzkriegEsteem2.0.zip
6.) Reboot!

Its meant especially to work with gingersteem roms lol
But it does work with stock and probably other roms based on stock. CM7/9 not sure, since I doubt they'll be based on stock I don't think it'll work 100%, CM9 especially lol
I hope someone can get 2.1GHz to run, cause mine rebooted (darn lol)
I don't/can't use hdmi so I don't really get a benefit from this, I'm sure plenty others will though

EDIT: yea it would be nice to see kernels at increments from 1.5 to 2.0 for those that can't run at the higher frequencies
if 2.1 works for anyone that too lol
 
I had gingersteem extreme and installed this kernel and when ever I go to setcpu it freezes. I wiped the data and tried only on rom toolbox and it does the same thing. Its set at 1024 max right now. Any ideas?
 
I hate how my phone all of a sudden started hating 2ghz....

Is the hdmi fix going to be added to the GingerSteem roms?
 
I don't understand what's happening here with my phone - I must be having issues with my sd card mounting?
I put the kernel on my external sd card, went into recovery, and selected "install zip from sd card... and the kernel isn't there!
:confused: WTH?

*EDIT*~
I verified that I DID indeed put it on my external SD and just for good measure, onto my Internal SD too. When I go into recovery, it doesn't show up anywhere. The Blitzkrieg kernel is no where to be found.

Yeah. I believe that's the issue. The phone not producing enough power to push the clock speed at 2.0ghz+. Perhaps you could modify the undervolt a little bit higher so we could be able to hit 2.ghz and at the same time have it undervolted for efficiency. ;)
