Root [Kernel][1-15-12]Blitzkrieg Kernel 2.0 w/HDMI

Yeah. I believe that's the issue. The phone not producing enough power to push the clock speed at 2.0ghz+. Perhaps you could modify the undervolt a little bit higher so we could be able to hit 2.ghz and at the same time have it undervolted for efficiency. ;)

That is what I was planning on doing (actually left the house while it was compiling lol). Leave the bottom end slightly undervolted then slightly overvolt the top end for the performance.

I will be flashing when i get home. Plague at 2.0GHz was super stable for me and ran very high benchmark scores (for this phone anyhow). MT can you please leave both the versions on here. The one you released yesterday and the updated one for release later on, i want to try both of them.

Thanks

Right. I put it on both the External AND the Internal, just for good measure... but it doesn't show in Recovery. It shows up there in Astro and RE... on the InSD and ExSD both. It's like the Recovery doesn't recognize it for some reason...

Redownload it and rename it. Put it in the sd card and see if cwr recognizes it.

I will be honest with ya, that is crazy lol. And one that I have never heard. The only thing I can think of is it is a bad download and it is not recognizing it as a zip, and in turn not finding it.

Yeah, I downloaded it three times last night... all to no avail.
However, I finally got it to work - after the fifth download/attempt this morning (! lol!) , I was searching for it in the Recovery list, and the screen flashed - a different list showed up (?WTH?)... and there it was. lol
It installed just fine at that point, and everything is running great now.

After all this (mounting and unmounting ExSD issues I've had) I'm beginning to think that my phone has a serious bug with the SD card mount.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys... and big thanks to Mitch and PG!
You guys rock!

*Edit* ~ I wonder if this was one of the issues the ZVC update was supposed to fix?

When the first kernal update (by itself) came out, I had a problem as well with my SD card. In recovery it could not find the card. And one time I rebooted into the OS and the card was also not found. I know it takes a bit of time to mount the card if it a larger capacity so maybe that is what it was, or at least my problem....

What kind of sd card you have ?

well tryed everything to c if it works no luck,so im sticking with /plaque extreme stable on 1.9 no reboots.

...Still doesn't explain the internal one not seeing it.. Weird...

Exactly my point. That's why I can't help but think that my phone has a bug in it's SD mounting. When the Recovery screen blinked (and everything "popped" up), the new kernel then showed up on both InSD and ExSD afterwards.
What else could it be?
Any ideas?

*Edit*~
Sorry - I don't mean to steer the thread off topic.
I'll start a new thread on the card mounting issue so others can chime in if they have that problem, and then come back and delete my posts here so it doesn't confuse others.
:o

i have plague kernel currently running at 2ghz, should i install this one? also how would i install this one if i already have the other one?

I would honestly wait if it were me until mt releases the update as alot of people can't OC past 1.8.. But you'd just flash itover the old one through cwm.. I always wipe the cache and davlik to be on the safe side.. NOT data

I decided that I'd give 1.8GHz a try, and benchmark it in Antutu... the phone crashed and rebooted halfway through it.
So, I dropped it down to 1.7GHz, and so far it's stable there... it scored a 4310

I reboot at 1.9 but I never have the need to go over 1.4 anyway so I am good as is.

Very happy to get HDMI back! Thanks Mt
