I am currently using this Kernal and CM7 and i noticed that ur Android System bar is low compair to mines that says 49%....Am i doing something wrong?

check to see if your phone and see sleeping correctly. also check spare parts and see if there is anything holding a partial wake lock.

Version 4.1.0

added LagFree governor (Isaac J)
added V(R) I/O scheduler (Aaron Carroll)
increased readahead buffer (jdkoreclipse)
VM tweaks (jdkoreclipse)
moved tun and cifs to modules (cayniarb)
added nfs, lockd, sunrpc, rpc_gss_krb5, auth_rpcgss modules (cayniarb)

not sure what the lagfree governor is. gonna try this out.

I'm on 4.0.8, what are the benefits of updating to 4.1.0?

well if you see the changlog, it has a new governor to play with. it has a tons of tweaks that can make your phone run better.

it is not bad so far. hard to tell on performance yet as i just flashed xplod 2.1.3. still trying to figure out the lagfree governor. but so far my phone is running smooth with no issues. battery life is what to be expected from a tiamat kernel. will see in the next few days.

My phone is drawing about 60 ma while sleeping on wifi. It's around 25 or 30 if I disable wifi. My connection is good, so I can't figure out what is going on. Weird right?

Smartassv2 at first. Regular sa now and it's dropped to like 40 now. It's odd but maybe the kernel is just settling. A dude named ropodope on xda said you need to give it at least 72 hours to settle.

really? i have not seen much of a difference, but this one is still giving me so far 18 hours of very heavy usage today. this kernel rocks!!!!

Well my newest obsession is battery monitor widget. 3.3.7 draws in the 20's on wifi and I get a little of that with 4.1 but it doesn't seem as consistent. I let it settle for like 2.5 days so I feel like that was enough time. If I was to flash back to 4.1 again would it need to resettle or has it kind of already adjusted to my phone?

it would be like starting over again.

Ok cool that's good to know. I got nearly 3 hours of screen time with Tiamat 3.3.7 with the stock battery off my last charge so I was pretty happy with that.
