Root [Kernel][GB] H426 - BDTweaks now on Google Play (06/24/13)

all my test builds will be for GB rom's only, once we get something final I'll do one for JB too.

If your going to be testing these please make sure after you flash it you leave your phone on for at least 3 full days without any reboots to make sure its fully stable.

test build 1: H4B1.zip

patched zvc kernel from .7 to .14
patches for linaro and compiled with it
enabled lzma support and compressed the zImage and ramdisk with it
cleaned up some useless stuff in the ramdisk
optimized the partition mounting
enabled lg dvfs

note: I'm holding off on adding init.d support for now so scripts don't cause problems

Thanks! let's try this... You guessed my only question...
So, do we need to disable teaks (pimp, seedr, etc) or something else before flashing or can leave it as it is because they will not work anyway ?

yea, I recommend not using anything that tweaks the kernel for now at least.
 
Testing now blood. Thanks, will let you know in three days unless something catastrophic happens.
 
fixed the camera shutter problem from OC and fixed a issue with deep sleep in build 2. I'll post it in a few days if nobody has had any problems with build 1

Exactly, this morning i plugged for 20 min and it barely get in deep sleep, only a few seconds. Beside that i know is early for feedback but the battery life over WiFi is much better, and games performance too, even without OC

Wifi is much kinder to the battery. Lol
 
Had this kernel running for 24 hours now. No freeze ups and no reason to restart my phone. Only hiccup I had was my browser acting ******ed. Cleared up within a few minutes. Pretty smooth so far. Appreciate the hard work bloodawn.
 
Lovin it running great no hiccups. Only thing is can't wait for OC I use the camera so I'm going through with draws lol. I'm not the pic poster just a camera happy dad.
 
Much more friendly to the battery but I have had to do several battery pulls and had some instances where the phone became very sluggish like it would take about 30 seconds to redraw the screen after exiting an app or the app screen. A reboot seems to fix it. Not sure why it seems to be unstable for me.

you probably ran out of ram or one app was hogging all the cpu.
 
First luck up after 1 day and 12 hours, it happen when i was surfing on instagram.
phone became a little sluggish a few times, other thing is that the phone drains more battery through the night compared to the others kernels, like 9% in 5 or 6 hours.
beside that everything is fine so far :)

That's probably the deep sleep

beta build 2: H4Beta2.zip

changed to a earlier version of linaro
disabled lzma and switched back to gzip
rewrote and added overclock (theres no new governors added yet)
 
This also happens when the phone is coming out of sleep. The sluggish behavior. The apps that really caused it to come to it's knees were ssh tunnel, dolphin, fruit ninja. Will try the new kernel thanks blood.
