That's crazy , how did you get to that point ?
I removed almost every thing I could , couple things I didn't want to touch since I'm not to familiar with the android operating system . do you mind updating your post with what you took out ?

Maybe this is a dumb question. But to be safe, is there anyway I can verify the kernel installed correctly after the flash? Dont wanna brick after I get rid of all this crap-app stuff

Just reboot your phone and upon reboot you should see at the top white letters for split sec saying secured or something to that effect.

When in doubt you can reflash.

You can also use a app that shows system info and if you see my name tony@pangolin for the kernel then you're good.

Yeah sure does suck . I don't know if its cause I just wiped everything but at boot everything loads much quicker and my phone does not lag as much . I have go SMS , sidebar , voxer , kik , floating browser running all the time and there's still no lag .

Yep... You are good to go. LG blocks the kernel string for some reason. That where my name would have been, but I threw the gt in there just in case. lol
