Nice kernel it is compatible with my KitKatKrunch ROM so far and is blazing fast. Will keep you updated with any changes. I used the 1.5 Ghz
Well....seeins how you ask....you wanna ramp up the speed? I'm a speed junkie:smokingsomb::smokingsomb::smokingsomb:I can do that. Any one got anything else for consideration
I've noticed a decent bit of improvement from v1.1
you've got all the stuff I care about, lol.
But I could imagine someone will want more governors.
If you want you can do InteractiveX, Lionheart, and Brazilianwax to make it really fancy. But that's entirely up to you good sir.
Idk what else to add to it besides a higher freq.
I have cwm recovery v6.0.3.7 installed and every time I try to install the zip I get a message saying unable to open, no such file or directory. I have tried through rom manager, as well as through Nandroid manager. Any suggestions?
The log reads as follows:

On top of what bcrichster suggested look at the size of your file, you may need to re-download it if it's corrupted.I have cwm recovery v6.0.3.7 installed and every time I try to install the zip I get a message saying unable to open, no such file or directory. I have been running 1.5 since you put it up for download and have had no problems it runs incredibly smooth... Bump it up and see where it goes...I think I might be pushing the limits at 1.5 but I haven't touched the GPU yet, so its more likely I can build a better performing stable kernel by bumping up the GPU a bit.
Bloated kernels suck, so I don't want to add 20 govs the most people won't use. If there happens to be 1 or 2 govs that are a must have I can add them, and pull some of the lesser used ones like conservative.

The next version will have the ability to clock to 1.7 with a few other mods thrown in. I've got a pile o crap computer I build all of this with, and one build of cm11 takes the better part of a day. Don't worry though it coming. I just have to find the time.
Yea I would like to see 1.7 I've been running the kernel for 2 weeks and it really stable
Same here. NO over-heating (that i can tell from the outside of the phone), NO unexplained reboots. And the battery seems to be lasting just as long as stock that I can see.
Found some interesting info one the cpu. Don't hold me to it but from what I can determine from here is that this cpu is capable of going 1.7 without any repercussions. I think its just clocked down for battery sake. Personally 1.5 was cool with me but if 1.7 doesn't hurt it, why not
