Well folks, finally some goodies worth having for the Huawei Mercury. This is for Gingerbread!!!


Added Goodness

• Overclocking up to 1.9Ghz
• Interactive governor
• Smartass2 governor
• Lagfree governor

What doesn't work

• cpu boots @1.9Ghz on first boot, but sticks after setting with a CPU app.

Requirements

• Must be rooted
• Will need a CPU Control app (ROM Toolbox & System Tuner are nice ones

How to install

• Have drivers installed
• Download & unzip file attached below
• Installs same as cwm
• boot phone into download mode (pink screen), from power off, hold volume +/- and power
• Connect USB Cable
• Open Nautilus with root privileges (have seen it posted that Windows Explorer works too, but I cannot confirm this)
• Look for the partition with 252MB and has images & Music
• Open images
• drag and drop the unziped boot.img and ok to overwrite old one.
• Pull battery, re-insert battery and boot as normal.
