Root [KERNEL] Plague Overclock Kernel for LG Esteem MS910 - UPDATED!

I've gone through this thread and I must be missing something. Everytime I attempt to put the phone into recovery mode with either AnReboot or CWM it will put reboot the phone and it looks like it is trying to boot. But all that happens is it shows me an exclamation point inside of a traingle next to the the little droid guy. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Re-run the recovery installer

2Ghz version coming soon! ;)

I've played at oc'ing on my pc's but know nothing about phone cpu's. I was amazed you could get 1.7ghz out of a stock 1ghz chip and now you are saying 2ghz is around the corner?!?!

Are the manufacturers that conservative in their settings that you will be able to double the clock speed of this cpu without any heat or other issues?

This is all great stuff but I'm having a little trouble getting my pc way of thinking wrapped around such amazing oc's.

Please keep up the great work and thanks for making our phones better.

say what! man you are going to burn our phone up man lol! whats the maximum oc that can be done to these proccesors???

and did you fix ther multiple file upload/hdmi bug?

Well... "burning our phone up" is 'our own' individual choice... the ROM doesn't come OC'd at that frequency, "as-is"... it's an optional setting - NOT a standard 'out-of-the-box' setting. lol :p
I keep mine at 1.3GHz - unless I'm playing games that require higher settings...

I'd like to know the "specs" on the Snapdragon processor as well.... but - MY main concern about this ROM is, how does it deal with the HMDI issue?

I don't seem to be worthy of a response concerning that issue to date... from anyone so far, it seems... have I came across in the wrong way?

the snapdragon is a real bad mofo chipset. normally a manufacturer will have the oc scaled back some from the spec max, but I'm use to only seeing about a 40% gain at most lol.

But like I said months ago when I dl'd the src, it was set at 1.4Ghz max stock, just had it set at 1Ghz by default.

Also I've learned from others research/post etc, that the chip manufacturer test the chips n if it fails it gets tosses into a bin for a lower oc setting test n so on. I think they use these 'failed bins' for prepaid phones thus the variance in max oc settings. Seen the same thing with the ascend(s) and Optimus's.

ok im using the new 1.8 version of pk and i can verify that the upload bug is fixed! it uploads pics and vids with lightning speed! @1.7 im not going to push my phone up to 1.8 yet!!!!
but the HDMI still does not work!!!!!!!!
but to me its worth keeping on my phone for now untill
a resolution is found. its only a matter of time.
but other than that this is bad ass!! exelent work!!!!!
and, i recomend autokiller for your memory management!
when i had stock memory i had some problems with the oc, but i used
more strict memory options with this memory manager and my phone
flys now! my memory limits are 6,8,15,100,140,200 ''foregournd, visible, scondary, hidden, content, empty''
