Kernel Question

[mtb3000gt]

This kernel looks pretty sweet does anyone no if it will work on the boost mobile samsung galaxy s2 (dph-d710) sgs2 kernel | SiyahKernel

[Codegerm]

I would not try to use that. The international version of the Galaxy S2 is a different beast with different hardware. There are different versions of the Galaxy S2 Ours is a SPH-D710

Will roms from the i9100 work on our phone?

[Codegerm]

no, only use ROMs meant for our phone which is the SPH-D710 (Epic 4g Touch) Sprint's Galaxy S2

[jaman29]

You have the ink effect lock screen. You have to change it in settings.

[mtb3000gt]

how do i change that

[Aries2010]

are there any custom kernels for GB08 like to Overclock

[jaman29]

You change it by menu> settings>screen lock and then disable ink effect. I just use the ripple effect.

get the app Tegrak Overclock to do it with. It allows you to overclock on the stock kernel.
