[KERNEL][RECOVERY][SOURCE][JB] JB Kernels + Agat's Recovery

okay 3.0 has issues doing backups I have run GB27 with 4.0 and backed up just fine. Did you wipe Dalvik cache when you installed?
 
I did not. So I should wipe Dalvek right after I install the kernel and then try to do a backup?

I wiped the Dalvek cache before and tried, then I wiped again after and tried and it did the same thing...
 
Over the past couple of days I have tried to use Agat's new kernel, but am getting no joy from it. I have tried all three 1.0 1.1 and 1.2. Although I can install them just fine (have done it via Mobile Odin and recovery) and phone boots, but I soon run into problems with apps not working or causing a kernel panic and rebooting the phone. Two of the Apps in question are basic apps (video player and Antutu benchmark). Seeing as I am on rooted stock GB27 this should not be an issue. I have since gone back to Garwynn's 0.4.1 and everything is running fine.


Note: Tried Agat's 1.3 and it is working though the default video player still has a bit of an issue. If I just open the app it will force close, but if I just pull up a video file in a file explorer and have the video player play it, everything works fine.
 
I'm on GC01, could I use a recovery kernel from GB27? I can not for what ever reason get any of the GC01 recovery kernels to do a nandroid backup.
