Root Kernels: BFS or CFS?

Hey all, I'm looking to try out a few different kernels for my new Myn's warm ROM. Right now I'm using netachy-toastmod 4.1.9.1 CFS.

Seems to work just fine, but I wonder if it could be better with say kings kernel. These and baked kernels seem to be the consensus for Warm.

My question is what's the deal with CFS and BFS. What's the difference? I've searched and I'm having a hard time coming up with answers. I'm just wondering what I should be using.

Any opines appreciated.

I think it depends on usage and the specific device. For me, battery life was better using netarchy 4.2.1 BFS vs netarchy 4.2.1 CFS on myn's latest rom.

Your best bet is to try out various kernels (cfs, bfs, havs, nohavs )

Kernels work different for everybody. For instance I'm using toastcfh test kernel 1 for cm6.1 and is working well for me however some people have had issues. You just gotta test and try out!

Hope this all helps!

CFS kernels are stable, BFS kernels usually break gps

In my experience with BFS kernels, it will get a good lock with gps, but if I'm using google nav, I lose that gps lock. Then it has to 'find location' again
