Root Kernels

Hi Everyone,

I'm running Warm 2.2 and I'm looking for a kernel that will improve the charging time, be able to OC/UC and plays nice with Evo hybrids, obviously. Coming from an Eris, Kernels are a whole new ball game for me. I'm not sure if I should even start switching kernels but I miss the fast charging times with stock 2.2. Thanks in advances

Alsp, what's the difference between BFS and CFS Kernels? I think I'm going to give Lou's #5 a go. It's compatable with EVO hybrids and the creator of Warm 2.2 has used it on his phone and said it's very smooth. Now I just have to figure out if I want to flash the BFS or non BFS. Do I have to do full wipes or can I flash like a regular zip?

Thanks, the first article gave me some great college football opinions ;)
I'm going to just try a few out. What's the proper procedure for flashing a kernel? Do I have to wipe everything, or just flash as is?

Most people will say to just wipe dalvik cache from recovery ..... I typically do this. However, some kernel developers on xda say you can just flash the kernel without wiping anything.

Thanks. I didn't wipe davlik and everything is working fine. I ended up flashing Lou's #4 which doesn't have BFS.
