lol no prob bobDohhhh.....thanks.
gotcha thanks, I think as long as the screen off battery drain is very low, then I can afford some screen on drain in exchange for snappiness, we'll see how the day goes.
But with conservative scaling so far I like netarchy the best
.As long as the min/max for the screen off profile is the same (e.g. 245/245), governor choice is irrelevant. The governor only comes into play when there is a min/max to switch between. Of course, don't use profiles with smartass, but I've probably said that a thousand time.
I used to have smartass in my setcpu scaling options.. but its disappeared. Any idea why?
Oh, thats why. I think 4.1.9.1 is running better for me, but ill try 4.2 or 4.3 again soon
When people say to try a kernel for 2 days this is more for battery than performance right? I tried ziggy for about a half day and the performance wasnt there on the conservative scaling compared to Netarchy, so I ditched it, trying kings right now. so far kings is better than ziggy, we'll see how it does the rest of the day
and the winner is..... Netarchy! Kings gets 2nd place, but Netarchy's is just flat out faster, it feels faster and it scores faster, also I dont loose any icons with it, I only had once instance with kings where I lost an icon, but on top of that the netarchy battery life seems to be better too, so faster and more battery = good. running 4.3.1 now
every time i try netarchy on CM i get screen tearing when scrolling and horizontal tearing through any animated motion, i do like the performance though but have yet to find one that works for me.
Maybe its not netarchy then haha what are the sbc-net-bnice kernels then I tguess I just assumed the net meant netarchy
