Keyboard Problem. Help!

Hi,

I uninstalled the extra keyboards I was using (mainly SlideType Keyboard), hoping to get back to the default keyboard. But I can't. it's turned into a diff keyboard (with tiny letters and option for THAI lettering - have no idea why thai) that doesn't have dictionary.

So I went to reinstall SlideType Keyboard and now I cant use slidetype keyboard either! even after activating it under Locale/Text. It just sticks to the messed up keyboard. i've restarted my phone a few times, but still no change

HELP!
 
Hmm very weird. Try restoring the phone to factory defaults.

It will just change settings back to how they were out of the box. I don't think you will lose any data..

So you have tried long pressing on a text input box (any, it doesnt matter) and then from the popup selected choose input method?
