kies doesnt work

Hi there folks, I installed Ice Cream Sandwich on my galaxy S2 via ODIN. Since I rooted the phone it doesn​

what do you need kies for? you can do everything it does and more without kies on a rooted phone.

I guess I would get an app at the play store. But now I see why you wanted to use kies. did you get that to work?
edit: yeah. I don't think kies will work with a rooted phone. But there are apps for that.

Go to Outlook and export your contacts in VCF format and save them to your phones memory card. Then (from the manual):
1 In Idle mode, open the application list and select
Contacts.
2 Press [SETTINGS] → Import/Export → Import from SD card.
3 Select a memory location.
If you have more than one account, select an account to
which you want to add the contact.
4 Select an option for importing a single contact file,
multiple contact files, or all contact files, and select OK.
5 Select contact files to import and select OK.
