Help KitKat changed LED colors

Priority to the Kitkat upgrade, my LED would flash green for a email or text notification. Now it flashes white. Does anyone know how to change this without having to install a seperate app?

I don't know of a way to do it without a separate app, but Lightflow does a pretty good job on some phones.

+1 for Lightflow as I used it all the time for my notifications when I had my GNex.

It's in the setting within Lightflow. You set it up for each app. I don't have it on my HTC one M8 so I can't remember the exact keystrokes, but if needed I can fire up my gnex and spell out each step for you.

Thanks. I was able to figure it out. It's nice but I don't think the LED is as bright, even at the100% setting.

Did it change the battery charge indicator too. Just curious as on my MotoX it's nearly impossible to see now.

Yes it did. I have it set to show when the battery gets below 20%.
