KitKat keeps installing on sdcard?

Hi there!
I recently got the last cyanogenmod for my Galaxy sII and I have problems installing it.
So, I copied the .zip file on my phone and booted into recovery mode.
After this, I wiped everything and started to install the rom.
After about 20 seconds, it's showing me a dead android and an error which is saying that the android could not be installed on the sd card.
The thing is that I don't use a sd card, only the internal memory.
I tried other KitKat based roms, but I got the same error.
I don't have any problems installing jelly bean, only with kit kat.
So the question is, can I change the installation directory?
Thank you and I apolgize if my english is bad, but I am romanian (still learning :) )

Hello and welcome to the forums . I see your having trouble installing kk to your device . need to know are you rooted . and if installing cyanogen mod did you do a full wipe data cache etc. You can't change install directions cause when you do a full wipe this will clear your phone out the only way is from your device SD card. Now when kk get installed you can just update through the settings of cyanogen mod

Wipe everything again format everything but the SD CARD.I REPEAT FORMAT EVERYTHING BUT THE SD CARD. And make sure SD card is mounted and try again

Uhm..I am using a custom rom (dorimanx kernel) and I have their version of CWM.
But, like I said, I can install any other roms instead of kitkat.

Here's a link to the 'official' CM11 thread @ XDA:

[ROM][GT-I9100G][KK][4.4.2] CyanogenMod 11 Official Nightly Builds - xda-developers

I'd advise flashing a stock firmware/kernel back to the device, root it and install CWM Recovery, then try flashing CM11 again as documented in the above topic.

I'll also move this to the Galaxy S2 (International) section, as that also caters for the i9100G so you may get better advice from other users of your device.
