OP updatedMirror is back up.
Same thing happened to me (not on the remix just on regular slimkat) and a whole bunch of other people.Ran into a wierd thing on SlimKat Remix rom. If I have phone powered off and insert recharging cord the display brings up the recharging big image of the battery but instead of showing charge state and remaining off the phone boots up to a locked state, then have to hold power button till it reboots to normal working state. I even tried plugging in charge cord while running normal and then powered down to OFF it goes right into this reboot all locked up again. Can anyone else see if theirs does this with SlimKat Remix ? I should be able to turn phone off and insert charge cord with just the battery screen showing up with battery charging motion and phone remains off. I got a feeling this is some kind of bug in the rom itself. So for now I can't turn the phone completely off and have it charge, has to be on.
thanks for any responses
CM 11 Remix is outdated, I will take down soonOn the cm11 ROM my service comes and goes on its own. Some times it just says searching for service, which means no data or service. I flashed the APN fix but it didn't work. Any one have a suggestion?
Maybe go directly to the app? Idunno, i fixed older roms, but I'm on No Gapps Stock version.Just installed SlimKat and root access is turned on, but it won't prompt me to give permission. Also, the built in system app remover doesn't work.

I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think the way you get root working is to turn on developer settings. I used to use that ROM and I got root working (without SuperSU) but I don't remember exactly how. Try looking some more through settings if you can't find how in developer settings. Also the built in system app remover needs root so once you properly enable root in settings it will work great. If you can't figure it out yourself (getting root working without SuperSU), I can flash the ROM myself to figure out for you. Good luckJust installed SlimKat and root access is turned on, but it won't prompt me to give permission. Also, the built in system app remover doesn't work.
That did the trick. Can't believe I didn't follow the first rule of troubleshooting! (Turn it off and back on again) Thanks for pointing it the obvious!Try to disable/re-enable root, I'm having a similar issue on CM12.1.
Only in stock. Basically backup everything, flash/restore stock, update prl, and restore backup.Am using Carbon Remix on Boostmobile Volt how do I do a PRL update? I ported in a new phone # using RingPlus but I don't see an update PRL option in settings. And none of their manual PRL instructions worked.
I just know that under AOSP DC phone settings... It shows you can switch connections ( example: auto prl) but I'm at a loss what I'm trying to accomplish there... But I guess I should look into that more... Sorry about that. Maybe backup, switch to stock, update prl there, then restore backup?Just curious but what does this do as far as PRL update from page 1:
Dialer Code for AOSP ROMs:
*#*#4636#*#*
If I just reflashed RingPlus APN fix would that update the PRL ?
No the APN fix won't update the prl.Just curious but what does this do as far as PRL update from page 1:

It is in slimkat... You have to get developer options active as wellThink you have to flash supersu zip its not included in SlimKat.
