Kitkat

Did call recording come with these phones? I thought this feature was left out of recent phones, I'm sure you know why these days.

This is a public service announcement. Either keep your replies civil and respectful, or don't post.

If you want help with a specific custom ROM then do so in the ATR section, as this is the General one. If you have a specific issue then create a thread regarding that.

Finally, the titles "junior", "senior" etc are based purely on post count and do not indicate anything else. Everyone here, member and staff alike, is volunteering their time and effort to assist others, so please them due respect as requested in the Site Rules.

Thanks.

I just updated my note 3 to kitkat 4.4.2. Since that, i found lot of problem. The phone getting hot when using it for few minutes. Phone Call recording no longer work like before. It was working without a glitch on my Note 3 before but after upgrading to android Kitkat it doesn't record any voice but only static sound. Not only that, media player cant view inside extsdcard. It just show an empty folder inside extsd card. My note 3 start to lagging few time a day. Stay with Jelly Bean 4.3 is the best. So sad and disappointed after updated to kitkat 4.4.2.

Can someone tell me how to access this "Call recording" app that's built-in to Android 4.3? I've never seen that app on a Samsung phone. Granted I've only had 2 but darn you'd think I would have run across it at some point.

Never came across it with any of my Samsung phones, like I say I thought they left this out for confidential reasons.

there is no such thing as a built in call recorder on the device.the ability to record 2 way phone calls is built into the android programme script.nobody ever said there was a built in call record app/feature on the device.and if you are not rooted then none of this discussion applies to you
