Oddly the Kobo app from market hasn't all of the nice features of stock reader (Kobo) of the Desire HD.
E.g. I miss marking words with lookup in a dictonary.

The Kindle app has this feature.

If you have the actual Kindle itself its better still as you can sync the two and never loose your place in a book. I will say though, once you've used the Kindle the no flicker monochrome screen is excellent for reading and is very gentle on the eye. You wont want to use your Kindle app after that.
