Root Ladies with Triumph?

I here! With the moto triumph
this is also my first poSt<3
like someone said bigger is better! I like my phones big, fast, with solid features. And this phone has the materials but lacks the ability to perform I've been dealing with it since I got it a few weeks ago and it's not as terrible as some have described but I still get annoying glitches.
I want to switch up to another rom sometime this weekend and this pink black and white theme is what convinced me!! I want it!! I love this phone but it needs some plastic surgery to make it amazing.

For those that have the other roms which one do you like best and have the silly glitches stopped since you switched over?

It should be ready in a few days :)

I dunno I'd like a pretty or eye catching alternative to pink. Pink is most popular but what about red, glitter, lavender, leopard etc. How about a cool project where u genious make a smart theme created where a user can plug in a little impute and preview her own personal theme from a library that builds. That way these all be unique and what everyone likes :-)

Ex: user can input a photo that will produce x number of theme preview output. Then select and hit advanced to change brightness or what is themed i.e. messaging, settings etc.
Ex: user inputs a color pattern she likes or maybe even a font selection etc.

This would allow the user more control over the final result ad some themes have strong visual points but a certain section could use a bit more aesthetic tweaking.

I get turned off by "girl" themes in the general definition - I do not enjoy a pink spectrum and flowers all over my MT. Not my style. Yes, I was raised by a father who wanted a son...damn, I got psychological in a phone thread.
But on the comments as to phone shape/size - I would agree that female droid users tend to go with a rounded phone design - I did, until I tried the MT out. I believe the rounded thing might account for a large number of female smart phone users enjoying iPhone ownership. Perhaps there is something to be said for advertising or gender distinction, but I couldn't say for sure. I now DESPISE rounded phone builds, and want to get as much life out of my MT for the sole reason that blocky/square phone design doesn't seem like a popular trend anymore.
ANYWHO: for a 'softer side of Android,' as I'm doing with a MIUI theme, purple can't hurt (and is also sometimes liked by dudes). I pay attention to the ladies of DA, and by and large, by my account they enjoy:
1. macro photography - might be kittens or a flower, but its popular
2. functional desktops with lots of informational widgets (calendars, social media previews, etc)
3. jewel tones - blues, purples, pinks, and turquoise is very popular (read one shade green past ICS blue)
4. icons tend to be more complex, with texture - dudes gravitate toward clean vectors, ladies seem to love more: glass, wood, intricate design
5. Informative lockscreens
6. Many a lady uses MIUI in my circle of female compatriots. I count myself in this category. I love the settings menus and toggles. I think us girls also like to change our outfits depending on our mood - hence the beauty of ease of theme change with MIUI. There are months when the women on DA put out twice as many layouts as the guys. We like variety.

I'm using a Triumph. I prefer an ICS theme on CM7, but I like to try new themed ROMS and stuff. I like pale pink and black together. Not sure how everyone else feels about those colors.

I agree with the majority of this, excluding the bit about iPhones and us girls liking them. I don't like them at all. I've never liked them. I don't see the appeal in holding/using one, either. I like the boxy shape of the Triumph over my boyfriend's Atrix by far- it was always falling out of my hand. I've also used an iPhone and had the same troubles. I feel like iPhones are very overrated, and I much rather prefer easily being able to customize the interface of android devices. Even with a jailbroken iPod touch it was a disaster. The retina display is pretty and all, but the enormous screen on this phone is just a killer. Best phone I've ever owned.

True! :D iPhones are way overrated and you drop one without the case the whole thing explodes since it's basically encased with glass. Sure it has the highest resolution on a lcd screen, but that's all Apple seems to care about... Getting as many pixels per square inch they can with the smallest screen they can.

I'd be TERRIFIED to drop an iPhone, now that you told me that. I've dropped my Triumph countless times and its screen doesn't explode. :p... I see people using those stupid phones all the time at college and I just wonder "Why?" and then I'm all "Look at how much LARGER my screen is than yours!" :D

And that's what commercials take advantage of! Making fun of how small the screen is on the iPhones and the better resolution really doesn't make much different in the long run especially on that small of a screen. I mean I use a mytouch that doesn't have all that big of a screen (bigger than an iPhones, smaller than my MTs.), but the fact is IMO android is a better OS than IOS, but IOS gets all the attention and is more refined mainly because Apple is the only company that can make the iPhone, whereas Google is partnered with lots of companies to make phones that can run android, meaning you can get what you want on any shape, size, speed, etc. And android phones run a lot cheaper than iPhones off contract. Anyways I think my rant is over. :D But in short iPhones may run smoother at times because its optimized for one phone. But if you don't have a case you are screwed. That's why I like the MT, and even when I had the OV, they are plastic meaning they absorb the shock instead of taking it full force and exploding.

Sorry to take this thread FURTHER off topic but being the father of my soon to be one year old daughter I guess I was initially guilty of being like your father; I wanted a boy. Yet, AND I SAY THIS NOT KNOWING YOU IN PERSON BUT PAYING YOU A COMPLEMENT, it seems that you have become a thinking oriented and capable woman. I think that its a shame that all the commercials on TV will be trying sell toys to make my daughter prone to taking care of babies, cute ponies, and getting married. While I as a man grew up with erector sets, legos, and toys that made me grow cognitively. I don't know. I am glad I have a triumph because I researched it and came to my own conclusion that it is a WAY BETTER phone value and feature wise than everyone makes the iphone out to be. Rant over.

TLDR; Your dad raising you, wanting a boy might not have been all that bad.

I am going to say this but once-please do not get into a discussion pertaining to social and gender norms.
Seriously. I. Will. Not. Stop. Talking. (I'm warning everyone now, to save them long winded posts later)

I think it's presumptuous of anyone to assume anything. Obviously this thread alone proves the diversity of users regarding smartphones and what they prefer. "some like it hot, some like it cold", just like the nursery rhyme. People like different things.

I don't like a complete retheme every few months, but I do like to change my wallpaper often to reflect a slightly different style or some such.
Without trying to delve too deep into the idea of "what women want" or "what men want" regarding phones, themes or the like, I will leave it at this:
We're a diverse bunch. Hence why custom ROMS are so popular-the increase in customization options and so forth. We choose what we like, what we prefer and as Android users, I couldn't want anything more. Diversity FTW.
