Root laggy internet

[bigbear6708]

my phone seems to lag and freeze when I run the interent on my phone..mainly Android and mikg forums have the problem..is this a kernel issue, or a common thing (do y'all have this issue?) i have run aggressive freedom, anthrax and more freedom...anthrax seemed to mitigate the problem the most, but battery wasnt too good...I am thinking about trying chop suey next..any ideas?

are you using setcpu? if so what are yor settings? have you tried to wipe dalvik cache and cache?

Thank Ocn..yeah caches are wiped, set cpu is at 245/998 interactive x. I did have 198 min on for a while testing it..and cant remember if it was set when these problems happen..would it even matter though, since the phone is probably operating higher than 128 when the screen is on anyway? I will lower settings again and see if I can isolate that as a problem, and to be fair, i owe more freedom another day to settle in.

also maybe try and update your prl and profile as well

good idea, thanks again ocn!

do you happen to know what the latest versions are? I can only find old posts during searches..and unsure if the OPs were edited or not..nothing too recent.

my PRI: 2.33_003
PRL: 60683
baseband: 2.15.00.12.19

Even if you have the most recent PRL sometimes updating it, then updating the data profile will solve some of these issues.

Your PRI is the most recent, the PRL I'm not 100% on. I believe it is the most recent.
