Help Laggy Video

I had taken a video just yesterday at the park. The settings set on the camcorder are set to default except for the white balance that's set at daylight. After I was done taking the video I had played it, and it lagged from 1/2-3 second(s) at the beginning of the video and then it slowly started to go smoothly. My Motorola Triumph isn't rooted. I just have an ADW Launcher (if that would be a factor into causing this.) What can I do to stop the lag?

The stock memory card that came with the Triumph has slow read speeds; hence, the lag in videos. Upgrade to a Class 4 card or higher.

Default video camera uses 6 Mbps write speeds for 720p & 480p, some class 4 cards may not be able to keep up when it's writing. Try a different card, or lower the video resolution.

My class 4 micro sd card can't keep up haha. Well, I'll just buy me a class 10 micro sd card then. Which brand would you guys recommend, Sandisk, Patriot, PNY, AmazonBasics, or any others?

The audio does kinda suck it's really low even when I crank up the volume. Thanks for the information. I need to look more into the rooting and CM7 to have a better understanding of how it works.
