Actually you don't need to flash gapps to boot it up considering i flashed with and without it.
 
As stated before; If you're having issues booting, you can try just flash the zip, then after flashing, choose "restore->advanced restore", then choose a boot.img from a known working EXT4 Nandroid backup.
In lieu of, you can also try replacing the boot.img in the zip file with a known working EXT4 boot image for your device.
 
Im always been a cm head and I love dis one except dat y on dis and da other cm7 and any rom built from it do my videos(the downloaded ones)not play at all its like da fps is 1 n nothing I try will get dem to play rite evn usin external media player like Tplayer only thing plays is da sound as far as video blank screen anybody having same issue and any1 else figured out da data problem other than dat excellent rom it even has mobile ap plz help out yall:confused:

The data problem hasn't been fixed yet and the video problem is common. I'm not sure if there is a solution though.
 
Don't know if anyone is still working on this or whatnot but ive been messing with req0s last build pushed to bitbucket. i think its the one that compiled this zip that Spz0 put up. so if anyone wants to compile and/or finish this i have a cm7 device profile and the msm7x27 kernel git.
 
It's finished for the most part in my opinion. A few bugs just need to be worked out.
 
was never able to get this rom to flash, the other CM7 version yes but this new revised no. I really wanted to check it out but no :/

Really? I'm Shocked Lol. You Have To Flash The CM7 Kernel. That's On This Thread Along With Gapps You Can DL. Do The Usual Wipe And There You Go :D

yea i know that but it still would never work. my phone would just stay on the samsung screen and after awhile the screen would just go blank but i mean it took AWHILE. i think it takes like 30 mins for the screen to go blank and i left my phone idle for like an hour. nothing. it just wont flash for me.

btw you do know there is another kernel in this rom? even with the CM7 kernel from the other CM thread, when flashing this youd get it overwritten by the one in this phone

its been a long time since i tried flashing this rom so i gave up on it a long time ago. the only way i would try again if someone posted foolproof instruction on how to flash it. but then again maybe not lol. CM isnt worth it if it doesnt work completely
