Had this phone all this time and didn't know:

Hold down home button and it opens up to show the most-recent apps you used.

Duh! :o

'Similar threads' shows none about this in Droid X Forum, so I took the liberty to post it although it is in other places.

For other tips look in app drawer for Help Center and even "News"(Tips and Tricks...yeah I know :) )
 
The only reason I even had any idea this worked was because my blackberry had it and I tried to find it on the X because it was so handy. Its a great underrated feature.
 
Phone Found - Owner Info. Displays owner info on lock screen. (Only downside is it does not autostart - at least not on my Droid X running Froyo 2.2)
 
I DEFinitely need an Angry Birds support group...or medication. I do pledge to NEVER download another stupid game on my phone again. period.
 
I mean, it's REDICULOUS going to my daughters school to pick her up after school and she finds me standing around all her friends discussing Angry Birds strategies, all with our phones out, all with glazed looks on our faces.
Really.
 
haha i even got my son hooked on it and hes 7. hes always like dad can i play that game on your phone. i let him start out on beta for practice. hes getting good. i wasnt paying attention the other day and he drained my battery. he gave it back and said it was beeping, 12%!!! hope theirs not an age limit on that support group! oh yeah can we play it on our breaks instead of coffee and donuts?!?!
 
I always wondered about that. What good is the keyboard outside an app or a website?
Just wondering what you do with it. Not trying to be a smart xxx.

I hope there isn't an age limit either. My 2 1/2 year old little girl loves to play the "birds" as she calls it. All it takes is for her to hear the music and she comes running....
