Root launcher issue, or kernel?

before rooting when I would try to get back to my home screen after tooling around with settings on my phone, or playing a game..(basically anything away from the homescreen) I would get the white htc screen for a few seconds, then the "loading" box while my screen images loaded. this seemed to stop for a while after rooting and installing mikg3.0, I upgraded to 3.11, with chop suey, and didnt really notice an issue (few force closes here and there), but with anthrax the loading image was very evident. I have recently flashed the new sbc kernel for sense, gb...and have not seen this problem yet (so far today have listened to a few pod casts)..

wiping cache and dalvik did not fix before..is this an issue with the evo..my launcher..or were the kernels messing me up?

That's HTC sense crashing. It happens every now and then, but should not be happening every time.

The white HTC screen that shows is a cute way to let the user know that the rom was clearing out some memory. If you have a lot of things running or a few intensive programs running the rom will still need to clean out memory to run the programs
