After reading this thread I changed to Go from lp and I am quiet impressed.

Agreed. I'm quite glad I gave Go a proper chance as I'm really impressed at the moment.

Last 12 hours I am discovering Go. Themes, lockers, Widgets, notifications, SMS, ... it's a massive eco system. It would be safe to say it's like much more than a good rom.

aye its good, it has a very strong and efficient dev team.
I have a feeling some of the people behind miui are behind Go. the dev style is very similar and things flow in a similar way

Well I am a bit of a launcher switcher...I've had original Sense, LPP, ADW EX, SPB 3D, another 3D launcher kinda similar to SPB, GO, Launcher 7, stock vanilla android launcher.....the list goes on lol
I haven't used LauncherPro Plus since...well, since it was last updated...when was that...2 years ago? lol nah, I know it was updated like 5 or 6 months ago...its a shame it just has seemingly died, although the forum on his site has the admin staff there convincing everyone that its not dead and that fede is rebuilding it....though sounds more like they are hoping he is as he doesn't post much if at all from what I see.
Launcher 7 for me is very stable and a great alternate to most of the launchers as they all seemed to have the same kinda theme...5 or less icons in a dock and scrolling screens (theres nothing wrong with that lol)...where as Launcher 7 is obviously a windows 7 copy...and I liked that it made things much more simple for me...2 singular vertical scroll screens, fast, clean...sorted...just the widgets thing was annoying at times...couldn't really use them because of how it formats the rows on the screen..
I only changed it back to GO after the last 2 updates seem to have caused me memory issues a little with it....so back to GO I....err....GO...
oh yea...another thing that swayed me back to GO was Wave Launcher...especially now it has widget support...really neat to bring up my calendar widget on screen while I have say a webpage open...or poweramp on top of a webpage or game without switching out to the homescreen or using the multitask button..
