I'm really digging Sense. But I find the Sense dock redundant to the capacitive Menu button. It would be cool if I can drop in my most frequently used apps (phone, sms, e-mail, browser) into the dock instead. For those who are using Launcher Pro Plus on their Thunderbolt, any issues? Lag, stutters, etc.?

I've used LPP on all my phones for the past looong time. Responsive, good battery life, easy to customize.
 
Does your phone dialer screen work? Mine has the phone number buttons but no call history comes up unless I hit the call history button. Also when I type the first 2-3 letters I used to get my contacts to show up, but now it doesn't work. Is this happening to anyone else?

I had the same problem. I fixed it by pressing and holding on the phone icon in the dock. Select change shortcut > applications > phone

Seems to be working better. Hope this helps! :)
 
I just discovered something pretty cool. I'm really digging the new skins I got and thought I could only use them with Sense, but you can use them with LP. I haven't tried ADW yet. Most people probably already know this, but I just figured it out. :)

thank you! this makes it so much better, I thought I was goign crazy trying to use the stock phone. Again thanks :)
 
I tried Sense for a few days but I missed all the flexibility Launcher Pro gives you. If you pay for the plus you get some widgets that look and work like Sense widgets except for the clock. The clock can be replaced pretty closely by Beautiful Widgets. I also use the toggles from Beautiful Widgets.
 
I use LPP as well as sense :p. I know I know, its odd. I just dont set a default home screen and just pick which one I feel like looking at ;)
 
There's no comparing LP+ and sense. LP+ wins all day, everyday. I used to love sense and once I found LP I have never looked back
 
I used Launcher Pro and I liked it. But now I am using GO Launcher, and I think I like it more. Their app drawer is fantastic.
 
I'm kind of addicted to launcher pro...and after learning that Simi folders can be launched with gestures from the dock - only thing I have on my homescreens are widgets.

That is damn cool...
 
As blazing fast as LauncherPro+ runs on my Eris, I can't wait to see how fast it is on my new TB, which I am activating tonight. YAY!
 
I tried looking at ADW and GoLauncher, but the easyness of setup and customization with LP+ is what brought me back to it.
